Miami Dade College Named Among “Great Colleges to Work For”
Miami - Miami Dade College (MDC) has been named among the nation’s Great Colleges to Work For by ModernThink, LLC. In addition, MDC made the Honor Roll again for being recognized in all categories of evaluation. The results were released today in a special insert in the Chronicle of Higher Education, a major higher education publication.
“I am extremely grateful for this important recognition,” said MDC President Madeline Pumariega. “MDC would not be the leading institution it is today without the hard work and contributions of so many outstanding faculty, administrators and staff. Thank you for your continued dedication and support. Our employees truly embody and champion a culture of care.”
MDC was recognized in the following categories: Job Satisfaction & Support; Compensation & Benefits; Professional Development; Mission & Pride; Supervisor/Department Chair Effectiveness; Confidence in Senior Leadership; Faculty & Staff Well-being; Shared Governance; Faculty Experience; and Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging.
