Shutts & Bowen partner John Patterson of Sarasota was awarded the Florida Bar Foundation 2022 Medal of Honor, recognizing his work over five decades to increase local and state-wide access to justice for all. Alongside his corporate work, Patterson helped found the predecessor organization to Legal Aid of Manasota and is a Board Member of the Innocence Project of Florida.
