ShorePoint Health Venice and Millennium Physician Group Align to Enhance Care across Southwest Florida
(December 2, 2021) -- ShorePoint Health Venice and Millennium Physician Group have formed a strategic alliance to further enhance patient care for residents across the region. The alignment builds upon an existing relationship between Millennium and ShorePoint Health Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda.
“Millennium has high consumer confidence across Southwest Florida, and we are excited to work together to strengthen care coordination, enhance the patient experience and elevate patient care,” said Kelly Enriquez, ShorePoint Health Venice CEO. “Aligning with Millennium as we deepen our focus in these areas makes sense and brings tremendous benefit to our patients and the community.”
As part of the strategic relationship, ShorePoint Medical Group (formerly Gulf Coast Medical Group) primary care providers and the urgent care located at 1700 Venice Avenue will join Millennium Physician Group after the first of the year. Millennium will also provide hospitalist services beginning in late spring 2022 and Integrative Emergency Services (IES), a long-time associate of Millennium’s for independent emergency medicine physician services, will provide emergency medicine physician services starting in early spring 2022.

Specialists employed by ShorePoint Health Medical Group will remain with ShorePoint Health and continue to work closely with Millennium’s primary care physicians.
