MIAMI, Fla. — The Commonwealth Institute (TCI) officially launched its Women’s Leadership Development in Florida 2021 Impact Study. This is the first year that TCI is distributing the confidential online survey in Florida to better understand employers’ actions and organizational resources that are in place to retain and advance women employees in Florida.

Florida Blue is the official 2021 “Presenting Sponsor” alongside Kaufman Rossin and PNC Bank.  TCI has partnered with Researchscape, a nationally recognized research firm, to conduct the confidential study and analysis.

“Our overall goal is keeping a spotlight on the state of women’s leadership, providing businesses with insights and programs that will inform employers on how to effectively allocate resources and programs to retain and advance women,” said TCI-Florida Executive Director Jacqui Kiviat. “Study respondents can opt-in for their individual benchmark scorecard, providing the opportunity to systematically measure progress on women’s leadership and advancement, and access comparative data by industry segment and company size,” added Kiviat.

Businesses that are interested in participating in the online survey can access it here   The deadline to participate is December 17, 2021.

The survey is open to companies across industries, of varying sizes and stages—from startups to established corporations. Study questions focus on developing women leaders in general and include questions that focus on developing women leaders of color, as well as questions about barriers and accelerators related to creating a pipeline for women leaders.
