Barnes Trial Group
Steve Barnes is the founder of Barnes Trial Group (BTG). His practice is dedicated to representing victims and their family members in their pursuit of justice and fair compensation. He is joined by attorneys John Trujillo, Allen Pipkins, Christopher Donegan, Adam Rieth, and Valerie Leatherwood. Steve and his team are known within the legal community as tireless litigators who refuse to be out prepared. That reputation and the quality of work put into the preparation of every case ensure the firm negotiates from a position of strength for their clients and prepares for trial with confidence should negotiations fail to produce the best result.
Steve believes trials are the “great equalizer” that holds insurance companies responsible for the harms imposed on the firm’s clients. BTG was founded to send a clear message to the insurance industry that Steve and his team will try any case to verdict when an insurance company fails to fairly compensate the firm’s clients. Every case the firm litigates is set for trial, resulting in nearly 100 trial setting per year. As a result, Steve has earned a reputation amongst his peers and the judiciary as a top trial lawyer in Central Florida.
Finally, beyond trial skills and experience, BTG recognizes its clients come to the firm in one of their greatest times of need. BTG treats its clients as individuals, not case files. The attorneys and staff at BTG come to know the firm’s clients on a first name basis through a caring and compassionate approach. We feel blessed and proud to serve them.
