Even uncaffeinated thrill ride fans may be drawn to SeaWorld Orlando’s new coffee shop. Its décor includes two operational models of the theme park’s Kraken and Mako roller coasters.
The miniatures run nonstop behind transparent walls inside Coaster Coffee Co., the store that debuted near SeaWorld’s entrance Friday. Each of the endless loops takes about one minute, although a healthy chunk of that time is the little ride vehicles’ putt-putt-putt ascents of the lift hills. That builds in drama, just like on real, big coasters.
