Publix in September opened its 13th in-hospital pharmacy in Florida with a branch in the Anderson Family Cancer Institute at Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter.

Along with medications commonly dispensed at traditional pharmacies, the pharmacy at the Jupiter hospital will offer medicines used to treat carcinomas, leukemias, lymphomas, melanomas and sarcomas. “We look forward to providing premier service to patients and being part of their medical journey,” says Dain Rusk, who leads Publix’s pharmacy operation. Publix also becomes the preferred pharmacy for the medical center’s employee benefits plan.
