As Kevin Smith concludes traveling the country with his star-studded latest film “Jay & Silent Bob Reboot,” he stopped by Sarasota to discuss his upcoming project: a movie he made years ago with Ringling College of Art & Design students.

The filmmaker visited the university Monday evening for a talk and screening of the trailer to his Sarasota area-shot horror anthology film “Killroy was Here,” which is currently set for fall 2020 release. The trailer showcased some of the movie’s local filming locations including Booker Middle School.
