Florida is one of the states where 'wealth jobs' are becoming more common

America's wealthy need pampering — and they're hiring. "Wealth jobs," or personal care jobs like childcare workers, private chefs, housekeepers, and massage therapists, have seen higher-than-average growth since 2010, according to a new report. The jobs tend to center in places with resort economies like Florida. More from the Business Insider and CBS News.

Equifax breach victims in Florida could get burned again

If you’ve already been ensnared in the Equifax data breach, you could get burned again. Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody issued a consumer alert last week, warning that scammers have created bogus Equifax claims web sites that are trying to steal personal and financial information. Equifax, the giant credit bureau, last month reached an agreement with Florida and other states to create a restitution fund of up to $425 million for consumers who were victimized by the massive data breach. Tropical Storm Dorian up to 60 mph, forecast tracks target Florida

Tropical Storm Dorian is expected to continue to strengthen, National Hurricane Center forecasters said, and they still predict it will become the first hurricane of the season by late Tuesday or early Wednesday. Some computer models have the storm tracking to Florida by next weekend, but it may lose strength before then. More from the Orlando Sentinel.

Next year’s G7 summit will ‘probably’ be held in Miami, Trump says

On the final day of this year’s G7 economic summit in Biarritz, France, President Donald Trump told reporters that next year’s meetings would “probably” be held in South Florida. Though the location has not been finalized or officially announced, Trump suggested that his golf resort in Doral would be a good location for the next G7 meetings. Original Rays franchise owner Vince Naimoli dies at age 81

 Vince Naimoli, the Tampa-based businessman who led the effort that finally brought a Major League Baseball franchise to the bay area, died Sunday night after a long illness. He was 81. Naimoli emerged unexpectedly from the private sector in 1992 as the new leader of Tampa Bay’s 20-year pursuit of a team. After a deal to buy and relocate the San Francisco Giants was scuttled by MLB, he turned the focus to pursuing an expansion franchise, which was awarded in 1995 and began play in 1998 as the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
