Realtors group partners with Goodwill Manasota on annual Fashion Show

| 8/15/2019

SARASOTA, FL – On Wednesday, September 4 at 11 a.m., Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR) Sarasota will present its 26th annual Fashion Show, “Stars, Stripes & Style.” The event takes place at The Hyatt Regency Sarasota (1000 Boulevard of the Arts).

In addition to event proceeds supporting the WCR Scholarship Fund, WCR has selected Goodwill Manasota as its charity of choice for this year’s event – these funds are raised through the raffle of a “Lottery Giving Tree” during the program. Additionally, Goodwill is providing all of the fashions for the fashion show – modeled by volunteers from the real estate industry – and a “Goodwill Ambassador” as the stylist.

Other event highlights will include shopping with local vendors, networking with hundreds of fellow Realtors and business partners, and lunch.

“This year we are working on the fashion show with Goodwill Manasota with the aim of proving that you can look professional as a REALTOR without breaking the bank,” said WCR president Ivan Gould. “My wife and I recently became proud American citizens and we are amazed by the recognition our new homeland gives to its military. We are grateful to our veterans for their service and pleased that the proceeds from our event will benefit veterans, among others in the community served by Goodwill.”

“We are grateful to Women’s Council of REALTORS® for choosing Goodwill as a beneficiary of the event as well as offering us wonderful exposure to those involved with their organization,” added Goodwill Manasota president and CEO Bob Rosinsky. “We are proud of the quality of our inventory and think the event attendees are in for a real treat with this year’s show.”

Event lead is Melissa Watrobsky; co-lead is KimberLee Brooks. Tickets are $85/person. For more information or to reserve seats, call 800-245-8512 or email wcr@wcr.org.
