Doctor's Choice Home Care, Inc. Completes Three Acquisitions in 2019
SARASOTA, Fla. – July 23, 2019 – Doctor’s Choice Home Care, Inc. continues to expand its offerings in the state of Florida by completing three acquisitions in 2019. The most recent property acquired was Nursing Plus, Inc. in Miami on May 31. Florida Home Care Specialists in Crystal River was acquired in April, while Sterling Home Care in Port St. Lucie was acquired earlier this year on Jan. 1.
All three acquisitions have been accredited by CHAP (Community Health Accreditation Partner), an independent, nonprofit accrediting body for home and community-based health care organizations. This accreditation recognizes Doctor’s Choice as an organization that makes high-quality care a programmatic and business priority. In addition, Doctor’s Choice is an accredited and Medicare certified agency.
On average, the home healthcare industry experiences a four to six percent growth each year. Doctor’s Choice has surpassed this standard by achieving double-digit growth over the past five years. The agency continues to prepare for further expansion by obtaining additional acquisitions going forward.
