Mohammad Ali is fighting for his two pet goats.
Because the animals are prohibited by county code in his west Orange neighborhood, Ali said he recently got rid of beloved pet goats “Happy” and “Brownie” — and that has made him sad and blue.
He said he had raised the goats from kids but both pets are now sheltered at a boarding facility.
A graduate student in health administration at UCF, Ali said the zoning rules confound him because they would allow a horse or a donkey on his property but forbid his pet goats.
