DeSantis appoints third Supreme Court justice, completing conservative court makeover

Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Carlos Muniz to the Florida Supreme Court Tuesday, completing his conservative makeover of the court. Muniz has worked as former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi’s chief of staff, general counsel for the U.S. Department of Education and deputy general counsel for former Gov. Jeb Bush. Grocer games: Will it be Sprouts or Lucky's that comes out on top in Florida?

Pasco County Utilities supports customers in crisis

During the Federal Government shutdown, Pasco County Utilities (PCU) is working to help federal employees, who are also PCU customers, develop an action plan to ensure continuation of services. PCU will waive late fees and provide extensions for utility bills due by any federal employee who is on furlough or is required to work without compensation, as long as supporting documentation is provided.
