Michael A. Gottlieb is an AV rated lawyer by Martindale Hubbell®. He attended Nova Southeastern University Law School and The George Washington University where he obtained a Bachelors of Science in Political Science. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Gottlieb was an Assistant Public Defender in the 17th Judicial Circuit in and for Broward County. Before government practice, he clerked at the Broward County Sheriff’s Office as a legal assistant. As a criminal defense lawyer in Broward County, he handled thousands of cases and tried over 150 criminal jury trials to verdict. Mr. Gottlieb prides himself on being committed to fully understanding the 4th, 5th and 6th Amendments to the United States Constitution and being able to successfully argue in many cases that illegal or improper tactics should result in suppression of evidence. Understanding the client’s needs and converting that into results is what drives Mr. Gottlieb’s success.
