Rick Scott on GOP efforts to repeal and replace Obamacare: ‘They can’t stop’

Gov. Rick Scott said federal lawmakers need to keep their word, and continue their efforts to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act. “They can’t stop,” said Scott following a stop in Fort Myers on Monday. “They all promised they were going to repeal and replace Obamacare, and they got to do it.” More from Florida Politics and the Tampa Bay Times.

Physician suicides prompt wellness program for doctors

The Physicians Wellness Program allows members of the Lee County Medical Society to receive up to six free visits per calendar year with a psychologist. A physician’s employer doesn’t need to know about their visits, no personal insurance will be billed and the medical society won’t be given any information about those who use the program. Florida county loses suit, faces $300 million in hospital bills
