| 8/17/2016

Lynn University announced the appointment of Ralph Tilden ''RT'' Good as dean of its College of Business and Management, the school’s largest and most international program.

Good will oversee the college's educational services and programs. He will also articulate the college’s vision to align with the university’s strategic plan, differentiate the college through unique programs and build external relationships with South Florida alumni and business leaders.

“Lynn’s commitment to global engagement and strength in diversity creates a dynamic learning environment,” says Good. “I want to show the business acumen Lynn students obtain. Our students’ successes are why we exist and preserve the legacy of those who have invested in the university.”

Good spent the past four years as associate dean and professor of the Byrd School of Business at Shenandoah University in Virginia. He served the university for more than 20 years as associate dean of student affairs, dean of the School of Continuing Education and the Northern Virginia Campus, dean of global education and special initiatives, and associate professor of management. Additionally, Good held positions as associate cluster coordinator at Nova Southeastern University, managing partner of a hotel management firm, and chief business and human resource officer of a land development and construction firm.

“Lynn is focused on producing highly marketable graduates by complementing students’ studies with practical skills,” says Lynn Vice President for Academic Affairs Gregg Cox. “RT’s well-rounded background lends itself to a balanced academic and applied learning environment through professional partnerships and unconventional learning opportunities.”

Good holds a Bachelor of General Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Master of Business Administration from University of Mary Washington, a Doctor of Education from Nova Southeastern University and a post doctorate from University of Florida.
