Banks fearing more cyber attacks and their cost

Banks appear to be diving into cyber risk management for 2015. Almost eight out of 10 banks increased cyber security budgets this year – and the average hike was in the 10 percent neighborhood, according to the 2015 Risk Practices Survey. More at the South Florida Business Journal.


States ranked by dependence on federal funding

Wallet Hub, which does lots of studies on lots of issues, just released a ranking of states on their dependence on federal funding. When it comes to federal funding, Florida and Georgia are a little more dependent than most states. More at the Florida Times-Union.
