Toscana Divino
Toscana Divino is more than just a restaurant in downtown Miami. A public-private venture founded by Italian economic development partnership Wine & Fashion Florence and two Italian entrepreneurs, it aims to familiarize Americans and Latin Americans with Tuscan tourism, food, fashion and other products. Its goal is to create more opportunities for Tuscany-based companies. The Beacon Council, which aided Wine & Fashion Florence in its decision, says the county already has a trade and foreign direct investment relationship with Italy, which it wants to foster, and believes that Toscana Divino can encourage more Italian companies to choose Miami as their way into the U.S. and Latin America.
