Advertising -- Michael Goldberg has been promoted to CEO of Fort Lauderdale-based ad agency Harris Drury Cohen. Goldberg, 35, managed some of the firm's biggest accounts during his 10 years with the company.

Banking -- Tampa-based First Citrus Bank has named John T. Linton executive vice president and CFO. Linton, 35, was most recently vice president of operations and has been with First Citrus since 1998. He has worked in the banking industry for five years.

Beverages -- Jonathan O. Moore is out as chairman and CEO of Jacksonville-based Universal Beverages Holding Corp., a bottled water producer. Also, Cydelle Mendius, president and co-founder, resigned but will remain a director. Donald A. Rett, a Tallahassee securities lawyer, was named chairman. A search is under way for a new CEO and president.

Economic Development -- Darrell Kelley is resigning as president of the Economic Development Commission of Mid-Florida. Kelley, a former Sprint Corp. executive, says he had made it clear he was interested in the job only temporarily and would be pursuing other, more entrepreneurial, opportunities. The commission is seeking a replacement for Kelley, who has been president of the EDC since September 1998.

Mike Weinstein is stepping down as executive director of the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission to run the city's Super Bowl Host Committee full time starting June 30. The city has launched a national search for a new JEDC leader.

Healthcare -- Fort Lauderdale-based HealthAccess, a healthcare service organization, tapped Carlos M. Herrera as president. Herrera, 42, was most recently director of healthcare consulting for Chicago-based accounting firm BDO Seidman's Miami office.

Publishing -- Laurel Herman has been named president of Worth International Communications, a Miami-based publishing company. Herman, 49, was most recently publisher and editorial director of Recommend magazine, a travel industry publication owned by Worth International, and will retain both positions. She replaces Hal Herman, her father, who will become chairman.

Retail -- Greg Milne has been promoted to president and COO of Coral Gables-based Sunglass Hut International, a sunglass and watch retailer. Milne, 45, was most recently COO of the company's North American division. Meanwhile, John X. Watson resigned as the company's president and CEO to "devote more time to other business interests." Chairman James N. Hauslein is the company's new CEO.

Delray Beach-based Office Depot tapped Jerry Colley as president of its North American division. Colley, 48, was most recently senior vice president of stores and customer satisfaction at Memphis, Tenn.-based Autozone. He replaces Shawn McGhee, who was laid off from the office retail chain last summer as part of a restructuring by CEO Bruce Nelson.

Telecommunications -- Vincent M. Oddo has been named executive vice president and chief information officer of Pensacola-based Network Telephone Corp., which provides high-speed internet access to businesses in the Southeast. Oddo has worked in the telecommunications industry for 20 years and was most recently executive vice president and CIO for Gabriel/TriVergent Communications in Greenville, S.C.
