Eco-Business -- North Port-based Florida Environmental, an ecosystem restoration and consulting firm, has named Allison DeFoor II state coordinator, a newly created position. DeFoor, a lawyer, had served as Everglades policy coordinator under Gov. Jeb Bush.
Economic Developement -- Enterprise Florida, the state's economic development organization, has tapped Darrell Kelley as president and CEO. Kelley, 60, is president and COO of Maitland-based Milcom Technologies, a defense-related technology incubator. Kelley was president and CEO of the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission before joining Milcom in 2001 and replaces John Anderson, who resigned earlier this year.
Engineering -- Debra A. Lupton will become CEO of Orlando-based TLC, an engineering firm, in 2004, the company announced in June. Lupton, currently the firm's marketing director, will replace John D. Benz, who will remain chairman.
Financial Services -- West Palm Beach-based Banc of America Investment Services (BAI), a subsidiary of Charlotte, N.C.-based Bank of America, has named Lewis Fogel regional executive for Florida. Fogel was most recently manager of two Palm Beach County branches for New York-based Morgan Stanley and replaces Tom Schwarz, who is relocating to St. Louis to manage BAI's central region.
Dennis W. Zank has been promoted to president of St. Petersburg-based Raymond James & Associates, the broker/dealer subsidiary of Raymond James Financial. Zank was most recently executive vice president of operations and administration for Raymond James Financial. He replaces Thomas S. Franke, who is retiring.
Healthcare -- Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Foundation has named Denis A. Cortese president and CEO. Cortese is chairman of the board of governors at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville and replaces Michael B. Wood as president of the Mayo Foundation.
Restaurants -- Pompano Beach-based Roadhouse Grill has named Gary P. Bennett COO, a newly created position. Bennett, 47, was most recently vice president of worldwide operations for Hard Rock Cafe in Orlando.
Retail -- Financially struggling Holiday RV Superstores, a Fort Lauderdale-based chain of RV dealers that does business as Recreation USA, has tapped Anthony D. Borzillo as CFO. Borzillo replaces Casey Gunnell, who will remain with the company. Borzillo was most recently controller of Lake City-based TIMCO Aviation Services.
U.S. Chamber -- Jeffrey Crowe, chairman and CEO of Jacksonville-based Landstar System, a transportation services company, has been tapped as vice chairman of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a rotating position. He has served on the U.S. Chamber's board since 1998.
