Katrina Campins and Kendra Todd have at least two things in common. They both were on "The Apprentice." Campins appeared in the first season. Todd, who was in the most recent series, is the first woman winner. They both market condos -- lots of them. Todd is with Boynton Beach-based My House real estate company. Campins, a veteran real estate agent, founded her own marketing firm, The Campins Co., in Miami Beach last year.
"The market's getting so competitive that you have to get more creative," says Campins, "80% to 85% of selling something is the marketing, the hype, the buzz. I love to create."
Campins says she expects appreciation to slacken from the 25% posted annually in recent years, but she says anything with a water view or in Coral Gables will hold its value. "Do I think everything's going to be built? No. There's not enough consumers for all of these buildings," she says. "I really don't think there's a bubble. Miami is going to stand the test of time. It has such a bright future ahead of it."
