? Florida trial lawyers Thomas A. Culmo and Daniel D. Dolan II have joined forces to start Culmo Dolan, P.L. in Miami.

? Alex and Jose Villalobos gave up their private practice to join Akerman Senterfitt's Miami office, where they will work in the policy, bonds and land-use groups. Alex Villalobos is a member of the Florida Senate.

? Two of the top media lawyers in the state, Gregg Thomas and Carol LoCicero, formed a new First Amendment law firm in Tampa.

? Shutts & Bowen has opened a Tampa office. Longtime Tampa lawyer W. Thompson "Tommy" Thorn III, who brings along four lawyers from his old firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, will head the office.

? Corporate attorneys Jane A. Houk, a real estate tax expert, and Jeffrey M. Oshinsky, a securities lawyer, left White & Case to become shareholders at Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson in Miami.

? Kimberly Laucella, a legal counsel for Seminole County, has joined Akerman Senterfitt as a real estate lawyer in the Orlando office.

? The Cochran Firm, founded by the late Johnnie Cochran Jr., merged its Miami office with the high-profile plaintiffs firm Leeds Colby Paris Spence Hoffman & Valori.

? John D. Eaton joined the business law firm of Berger Singerman in the Fort Lauderdale office.

? Thomas P. Wert, who last month was installed as president of the Orange County Bar Association, joined Roetzel & Andress as a partner in the firm's Orlando office.

? Former Florida Assistant Attorney General Roberta G. Mandel joined Stephens, Lynn, Klein, LaCava, Hoffman & Puya, where she will practice criminal and civil appellate law in the Miami office.

? Kathy M. Klock and Jonathan B. Butler joined Fowler White Burnett's West Palm Beach office, where they will focus on securities arbitration, litigation and regulatory matters.

? Three leading south Florida lawyers joined Broad and Cassel's Miami office as partners: Patricia M. Baloyra, Ronald Albert Jr. and Vivian de las Cuevas-Diaz.
