Prior positions: Consultant with Bearingpoint, an international management and technology consulting firm; vice dean of faculty affairs at New York University School of Medicine, where he oversaw a $300-million budget and raised funds. "I would come to Palm Beach every year to say hello to our trustees."
Hobbies: Boating. Family: Wife, Barbara; two children, Jonathan, 40, and Peter, 38. Reading habits: Three newspapers a day: New York Times, South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Wall Street Journal.
