Florida Trend's Florida Public 150 ranks public companies headquartered in Florida in order from 1-150, with #1 being the public company reporting the highest revenue for 2006. This year, some notable highlights include:

• Total revenue of the 150 companies hit $272 billion, 9.5% higher than the previous year’s total.
• The 10 biggest companies generated 51% of total revenue.
• Companies in the southeast accounted for 52% of the total revenue.
• The financial services, insurance and real estate sectors claimed seven of the 10 biggest revenue gainers and eight of the 21 newcomers to the list.
• International Assets Holding reported the biggest percentage gain in revenue, up 293% in 2006.
