Meg Crofton

? Meg Crofton, who became president of Walt Disney World in August, has been named to the boards of trustees for both Rollins College and Orlando Regional Healthcare.

? Linda Gray has retired as vice president and director of news and information at the University of Central Florida. She held the position for five years after working for more than 28 years as a spokeswoman for University of Florida in Gainesville. Tom Evelyn takes over her position while UCF conducts a national search to fill the job.

? Dr. Louis Barr, a surgical oncologist, has been named medical director of the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute, which treats more than 3,800 newly diagnosed patients a year -- more than any other program in the state.

? Melanie Cornell has been promoted to principal and senior vice president of architectural firm HKS Inc.
