Net Element's advisors and shareholders include actors James Caan and Robert Duvall, as well as racing legend Emerson Fittipaldi. The company was founded by Mike Zoi, who also co-founded electric battery maker Ener1. Day-to-day operations are run by OpenFilm.com founder Dmitry Kozko, who joined when Zoi acquired his company in 2010.
