» Sarasota-based Alafia River Property Group is planning a $180-million project in suburban Tampa called Alafia Crossing. The development will include 40,000 square feet of retail space, 20,000 square feet of office space, 10,000 square feet for dining, a 120-room Holiday Inn and 351 residences on the 40-acre parcel.

» Aventura-based Sky Development recently received site plan approval for City Place Aventura, a 7.4-acre community with 53 town homes, 51 two-story condominiums and private penthouses, retail and office space and a 16-story hotel.

» Amera Urban Developers has completed One Charter Place, a $25-million Class A office and retail center that is the first phase of the Downtown Coral Springs project.
