Festival of Reading

The University of South Florida at St. Petersburg will host the 16th annual Times Festival of Reading 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25. The day of author appearances will include Dennis Lehane, Susan Orlean, Ridley Pearson, Rick Bragg and Richard Paul Evans. Information: festivalofreading.com. The Sarasota Reading Festival, which typically followed the St. Petersburg Times-sponsored festival by a few weeks, has been canceled for 2008.
