-- Eli Lehrer at the Competitive Enterprise Institute has a solution to South Florida's horse killings: legalize the sale of horse meat.
Since January, 17 horses in Miami-Dade County and two in Broward County have been slaughtered by thieves who carved out the edible flesh of the animals and left the rest to rot. Investigators say the horse killers are most likely selling the meat on the black market.
Columnist Frank Cerabino says marketing horse meat in America is not likely.
