» PSS World Medical named Gary Corless president and CEO after David Smith, who ran the company for a decade, stepped down. Smith had been credited with turning the company around; PSS ended 2009 with its highest stock price ever.

» Landstar System President and CEO Henry Gerkens was named chairman, replacing Jeffrey Crowe, who has been designated chairman emeritus. Gerkens succeeded Crowe as president and CEO of the Jacksonville-based trucking company in 2004.
