Children’s amusement complex Wannado City will lay off 314 and go out of business. The indoor park at the Sawgrass Mills mall was modeled after a successful park in Mexico at which children play at adult jobs such as firefighter and airline pilot. Wannado’s Mexican parent company had planned to roll out more but never did. Admission prices were a hurdle. Tickets cost $40 per child ages 2 to 14 and $10 for older teens and adults — and there was little for adults to do.
