Some people have politics in their genes. Not Bill Galvano. His family’s business is golf.

Galvano’s father, Phil Galvano, was known as the golf instructor to the stars. He wrote best-selling golf books and is credited as an innovator in the sport, one of the first to employ the pendulum putting technique that is now ubiquitous.

Phil Galvano had six children and five of them became golf professionals. Bill Galvano branched off, pursuing law and politics instead.
