Karen Briggs, Director of Finance for Lake County Schools, has been appointed the district’s Chief Financial Officer, effective Aug. 1. In her new role, Ms. Briggs will be responsible for planning and implementing the goals and objectives of the Finance department. Ms. Briggs has 30 years of accounting experience in both public and private arenas.
