For her company Mincy Enterprises' invention of the Healthy Wishes device, Boynton Beach resident Nancy Gerken was selected as the winner in Palm Beach County for the Small Business Administration's InnovateHER 2017 Challenge put on by The Florida Women's Business Center.

Healthy Wishes is a disposable, thin film that protects birthday cake from germs when people blow out the candles on the cake.
