Orlando native Johnny Damon has signed up as a partner with Direct Audio, an Orlando startup that hopes to change the way people watch sports at bars, restaurants and other venues.

Damon stole more than 400 bases in an 18-year Major League Baseball career and also appeared in a season of Donald Trump's “Celebrity Apprentice” television show.

He says his stint on reality TV gave him the entrepreneur's bug. When a mutual friend introduced him to Direct Audio founder Jerrold Primus, he wanted to get involved in the early stage venture.
