You inch your car to the drive-thru speaker at Wendy's in an Estero shopping plaza. It is dark, around 10 p.m. on a weeknight. You should be in bed. You should be eating an apple. You should not be in your pajama pants caving to a Frosty craving, waiting in a line with strangers who may or may not also be in their pajamas.
"Thank you for choosing my Wendy's. Would you like to try one of our money-saving combos?" says the voice.
You pause. The voice is not just any voice. It's golden.
