First, there's Jugs the juggler. He has floppy arms and crazy eyes. He juggles forks.

Next is Jokesy the pterodactyl, who can't finish telling a dirty joke without vomiting water on the stage.

And then there's the Dolphin Wizard, a gray combination of the two powerful creatures that sports a pointy blue magician's hat.

The farcical mind behind them all is 30-year-old puppeteer Daniel Ballard, who came to Gainesville seven years ago after fleeing what he called puppet prejudice in Alabama.
