Starting as a young farmer in the family fern business, John Hoblick said he kept on top of the political and regulatory issues affecting agriculture as a part of managing the farm in DeLeon Springs.

An interest in agriculture advocacy that started with his high school FFA and growing involvement in the Florida Farm Bureau Federation would lead to a position as president and CEO of the Gainesville-based nonprofit organization in 2006.
