Florida is ranked No. 1 for its workforce and job training in the second annual Enterprising States report put out by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the National Chamber Foundation. The ranking was based on job placement, the affordability and efficiency of a state's higher education system and the number of high school students enrolled in advanced placement courses, among other criteria. The state moved up from second place last year. The report touted Florida's Quick Response Training (QRT) program, administered by Workforce Florida.
