Green Meadows Petting Farm

When Bob and Coni Keyes moved to Kissimmee in 1988, they opened Green Meadows Petting Farm, a 50-acre attraction similar to one they operated in Wisconsin, where they raised hogs and cattle in the 1960s. Now, 25 years later, the business is still going strong, kept busy by church groups, scouts, students on field trips and a growing number of tourists interested in learning about farm animals. The farm has been so successful that other members of the Keyes family have since opened Green Meadows Farms in eight other communities from Texas to Connecticut, with combined attendance of more than 500,000 a year.
