WilsonHCG, a staffing company based in Tampa, is doing its part to try to whittle down the 7.1% unemployment rate for veterans. Throughout November, the company plans to assemble teams of recruiters, career counselors and other professionals across the country to assist veteran job seekers with everything from resumes to networking and interview tips. While the goal of the initiative is to help veterans transition back to civilian life, participants also have a shot at landing jobs. “We have clients ready to hire if we find people who are the right fit,” John Wilson, CEO of WilsonHCG told CareerBuilder.
