PORT EVERGLADES -- Broward County Administrator Roger Desjarlais fired port director Ken Krauter and other top managers because of what Desjarlais termed "philosophical differences." Debbie Bowers, director of real property for Broward County, is set to become director -- if the county commission approves the move.
