The fate of aircraft maker Embraer's proposed Jacksonville operation was thrown into doubt when the Army canceled a contract for a new spy plane. Embraer's ERJ 145 aircraft was supposed to provide the framework for a plane known as the Aerial Common Sensor. The Army determined the ERJ 145 wasn't large enough to hold the elaborate electronics for the Aerial Common Sensor.
