Forest Development

Coral Gables-based Adrian Development Group fleshed out plans for Baker County's first development of regional impact. Adrian told county officials it plans to build 5,500 housing units on 3,100 acres of forest near the town of Glen St. Mary, north of U.S. Highway 90. The project, called Cedar Creek, will include a town center with retail space and more than 100 acres devoted to industrial and commercial space. Adrian executives said the development will take nearly two decades to build.
