? Clyde Mathis is the new director for the Port of Pensacola. He was formerly executive assistant for the Port of New Orleans.

? Edwin A. Rodriguez has been named to the U.S. Small Business Administration regulatory fairness board for region IV, which covers eight Southeast states. Rodriguez is president of Tallahasseebased Connectiv Solutions, a professional services firm.

? Zenna Corbin is the new chairwoman for the Chipola Regional Workforce Development Board, which provides job training and employment services. Corbin owns Chipley Gun & Pawn Shop.

? James A. Cherry has been hired as executive director of the Holmes County Development Commission and Chamber of Commerce. He was previously president and CEO of the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce in Texas and, earlier, of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce.

? Charles J. Rasberry will begin serving as president of the Florida State University Foundation on Oct. 18, succeeding interim President Marilyn Spores.
