CEO SPOTLIGHT Founder: Since founding Moss & Associates in 2004, Bob Moss has built one of Florida's largest and fastestgrowing construction services companies. It employs 310. Projects: Moss & Associates has a portfolio of about 35 active projects, including Downtown Dade, a Kendall mixed-use project, and Nova Southeastern University's new performing arts center in Davie. Moss is projecting $650 million in revenue this year, up from $317 million in 2005. "We have a substantial backlog of diverse commercial and residential projects," he says, "so we expect both 2006 and '07 to be very strong years for our company." Prior role: Moss was chairman, president and CEO of Centex Construction Group from 2000 to 2003. Community involvement: Give Kids the World Village, a non-profit Orlando resort for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families; First Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale, where he is guiding a major addition to the church's existing worship center. Family: Wife, Sandra; sons, Chad, 36, and Scott, 33 -- both work for Moss & Associates.
