Leon L. Haley Jr., who joined UF Health Jacksonville as dean of the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville last January, will become UF Health Jacksonville’s chief executive officer Jan. 1. He will retain the titles of Dean of the Medical School and Vice President for Health Affairs of the University of Florida.

John L. Volakis has been appointed dean of FIU's College of Engineering & Computing. Volakis comes to FIU with a distinguished career in academia, most recently serving as the Roy and Lois Chope chair and professor of electrical and computer engineering at The Ohio State University's College of Engineering, a position he held for 14 years.
