The summer season brings long days and more sunlight, along with an increased risk of getting bit by the most deadly animal on the face of the earth: the mosquito.
To mitigate that risk, Sarasota County Mosquito Management Services will use mosquito sprayers, place sentinel chickens throughout the county and deploy mosquito fish in small bodies of water.
