Florida Trend Wins 7 Awards at FMA's Annual Conference

The Florida Magazine Association's 2014 conference was held in Orlando August 7-8, 2014.

Florida Trend was honored to receive seven awards at the Florida Magazine Association's annual conference this past weekend. The 2014 "Charlie Awards" (named after Charles G. Welborn Jr, a longtime professor of journalism and communications at the University of Florida) were presented at the Omni Orlando resort August 8, 2014. Trend took home seven awards, including three Charlies (highest award) for Best Overall Magazine, Best Overall Writing and Best Overall Design.

"The awards reflect excellence in all departments of the magazine, from the editorial staff to custom publishing and our web department," says Andy Corty, Florida Trend's publisher. "We're proud of our accomplishments, and our readers and advertisers should be as well."
