Page-Theus Funeral Home & Cremation Services: Best Large Company - No. 36

What do you like best about your company?

Jim Semesco Jr., Area general manager
Leesburg - Funeral, cemetery management

“It’s the best job I’ve ever had. They care about me and my family. The pay structure is very fair. They reward performers. At a lot of places, they get somebody, they use them up and get somebody else. Part of the way they judge me is staff retention. I’m supposed to grow my business and grow my people. It’s a very employee-centered company. They give me a discretionary bonus fund. If I see somebody doing what it takes to make us successful, I reward those people by sending them in for a bonus.”

“It’s a very employee-centered company.” — Jim Semesco Jr.
